Liverpool line up to take on Eintracht Frankfurt 🔴 #UCL
Preamble
After losing four matches in a row, the Reds aren't quite heading towards unknown territory. However, the previous occasion the club lost five losses on the bounce was during the 1950s, with manager Don Welsh. That campaign resulted in relegation from the top flight.
Currently, no one is claiming that the team are going down this season. But Arne Slot is keen to prevent repeating that piece of history. Liverpool need to bring their Premier League and European campaigns moving positively as soon as possible.
Frankfurt's initial matches in this season's competition finished 5-1—a victory at home over Galatasaray and an loss on the road at Atletico Madrid. The Reds, meanwhile, have defeated the team Eintracht were beaten by, and lost to the team Eintracht won against. So, predicting this game proves particularly difficult.
The unpredictable fun begins at 20:00 GMT. Kickoff is here!
